Crichton Scott

President

I am currently in my 3rd year at UBC and am majoring in Sociology. As president I am responsible for overseeing all chapter operations and guiding our officers. Since joining DG I have been inspired to take on leadership positions because it allows me to get more involved within the chapter and teaches me invaluable skills that will benefit me in the future. I love everything about DG, but my favourite thing has got to be the lasting friendships that I have made during my time as a collegian.

Vice President Finance

I am a 2nd year student majoring in Political Science, and minoring in Sociology. As VP Finance I collect dues, administer fines, create and maintain our Chapters yearly budget as well as create contracts. I chose this position as I felt it would be best suited for my skill set because I am organized and independent and I knew I could make positive growth in what is done and how it is done regarding finances. I wanted a position because I see how valuable it is to expand on my leadership skills as I admire the leaders that women on CMT have been in the past. I wanted to make my own contribution by offering the skills I already have in leadership, time management, and organization and grow on other skills by putting myself in a role I knew less about. I hope to make finance more transparent between the chapter so that active women are more aware of what finance does and why it is important. Something I love about DG is the chance to get exactly what you put into it, as I have had positions I find DG is more fulfilling to me every year as I grow in the chapter.

Vice President Member Education

I am a 3rd year Genetis and Biopsychology major. As VP Member Education I am in charge of overseeing everything that has to do with the education of our chapter! This includes the scholarship program, our rituals, pursuits and the history and proceedings of Delta Gamma. I wanted this position because to me our ritual and rich history is what separates our sorority from any other club on campus. We have the privilege of being connected to over 100 years of history that we share with thousands of women through out the world. By being the VP of Member Education I get to teach the chapter all about this! Delta Gamma has come to mean so much to me since I joined almost 3 years ago. I wanted a leadership position so I could have a better understanding of the organization as well as leave a positive contribution to the chapter before my time as an active member is up! As cliche as it sounds, my favorie thing about DG is the sisterhood! Hands down!

Amelia Rybalka

Vice President Foundation

My name is Amelia and I am a 3rd year Sociology major and Arts Co-op student. As VP Foundation I am responsible for coordinating and executing all of our chapter's philanthropic activities, and act as a liaison between the Delta Gamma Foundation and our chapter. I wanted to take on a leadership position because I wanted to give back - both to DG and to the greater community - and I wanted to step out of my comfort zone to see what I could accomplish and learn from this position. My favourite thing about DG are the women. There is no shortage of wit and humor (which I am endlessly grateful for) but more than that they are a constant, and for every curveball that life throws that you there's always someone willing to talk about it - or not talk about it - whenever you need to.
